It's November?!

Kindergarten and general work/life things are kicking our butt over here, but I wanted to post something from this fall before the holidays are already here. It's been a big change with elementary school, and I think we are finally figuring things out.  We also got a dog that Spencer named Fred (still don't really fully understand how that happened) -- Spencer and Justine both ask about the dog immediately upon waking up every morning, and I think he is finally done pooping in the house (fingers crossed as we continue to keep the bar low over here).

Beyond telling me how "happy & excited" the dog is every day, Justine continues to talk more every day and loved the "treat" part of Halloween (both the asking at houses as well as the actual consuming of treats). Our beloved Washington Nationals also won the World Series, which we commemorated by teaching Justine about calling strikes across the plate with a resounding "Heeep!"

Spencer is learning a ton at school -- hopefully more than just about Pokemon cards and the "s word," which he told me was "shut up" (I think that was the truth).  He loves his teacher Miss Alexis, but says his favorite part of school is recess.  He also lost his first tooth and finished his first season of soccer this fall, which Justine seemed a little more excited about on a weekly basis.

Onto new adventures daily!
