July fun

Spencer enjoyed more firsts this month, including eating his first foods (rice cereal, bananas, avocado, apples).  Dad also tried to let him taste a cold beer too.  It's been very cold in SF with the summer fog (as evidenced by the snowsuit pictures below), so we decided to take a long weekend in the sunshine of the Sierras at Lake Tahoe with the family. We spent the time hanging out at the beach and taking a few short side hikes to Fallen Leaf and Echo Lakes.  Don't even get me started on his adorable bathing suit, swim shirt, and sun hat (he doesn't get to wear any shorts here in the city, so there may have been some excessive photo taking in the Tahoe heat).
