First, right before the holidays, we got Spencer's first school picture from preschool, and Justine had a half-birthday (wearing a dress that I was worried she would never get to model otherwise). Justine and Spencer also decided to have an impromptu photo shoot before school one morning.
Then came the real deal - Christmas! We made cookies for Santa, and went to Christmas Eve service with my parents:
Then, we got into our Santa and Elf pajamas and waited for the big guy to make his appearance:
On Xmas morning, we opened gifts and they were immediate hits. (In fact, I think Spencer liked the simple stuff like slap bracelets and silly putty the best -- why did we ask Santa for expensive Legos and Moana gear then??)
Christmas Day also marked Justine's 7th month, so we took yet even more pictures. (Spencer had to get in on the action and J was not stoked)
And finally the New Year brought a few more smiles from the kids (before Spencer promptly started vomiting after the ball dropped):
