Welcome to 2015

We are settling into 2015 here in the Lyles household.

Spencer wasn't feeling so hot on his 10-month birthday, but we documented it all the same.

After he recovered, we also took our first "long" hike down into Muir Woods and back, which he seemed to love (huge smiles in the backpack before we even got started).  The beginning of many adventures this year, I am sure.

 

He is also picking up the speed of getting around the house, so we are taking defensive maneuvers.

 And here is his first passport photo to get ready for our family vacation later this Spring!

It's been cold in SF (read: 40s and 50s), so we had the opportunity to put Spencer in his bear suit a few times over the holiday -- a few more city hikes to Twin Peaks (during a bright sunset) and through the Presidio and back over Pac Heights (up a giant hill).
